The Race XC rim strikes the perfect balance between durability and performance making sure every ride is better than the last. The 6069 T6 alloy (welded) rim features a 24mm internal width to provide support during hard cornering or when throttling through techy sections. Optimized for 2.1″-2.35″ tyres. It may be light but the Race XC won’t hold you back.
Like all of our rims, the HUNT MTB line-up is designed to be used as a tubeless system. Featuring an H-Lock rim bead with ‘up-kicks’ to the shoulders of the rim bed secures your tyre when seated. This prevents side-to-side movement reducing the chance of burping your tyre. It creates a great rim-well seal for first installation and easy sealing of tubeless tyres. - 24mm internal width ideal for 2.1″-2.35″ tyre widths but also work very well with 2.0″-2.5″.
- Matt black work-hardened shot-peened finish with laser etched graphics for superior durability.
- Maximum tyre pressure for this rim: up to 2.5″ do not exceed 40psi. 2.6 – 3.0″ – do not exceed 30psi. Please do not exceed the maximum pressure stated on your tyre.
