The XX Eagle AXS Derailleur from SRAM has now changed the relationship between the cassette and derailleur. Now SRAM has created these components as integrated, interdependent drivetrain components as the T-Type derailleur now mounts around the wheel axle and therefore contacting the cassette directly with a first hanger-less interface.
